30 September 2007, 17:22
this is a poem i wrote.... dedicated to all my friends...
As it comes to an end, thanks!
by Cheong Yi LeiAs the year ends,
i'll gonna be sad,
to say goodbye,
but i won't cry.
i'll remember the moments,
we had together,
some bad, most great,
but i'll try to erase the hate.
To my friend,
thanks for the help you've given me,
thanks for the support you've given me,
and thanks for being such a good friend!

Δ wacky story ...
08 September 2007, 15:20
hey! the story was supposed to be a combination(what she call inspiration) of william shakespeare's plays but the story that my sis w_ _ _ _ _(fill in the blanks yourself)is ____________________(give you a prize if you can guess the correct answer for this one):
Tears rolled down her pale cheeks uncontrollably.
The lovers sat opposite each other at the head of the table, glazing into the eyes of the other. The width of the table acted as veil separating them into two worlds, but it did not affect them. They shared something special in their glaze, something unique to he and her. He held her hand tightly, treasuring every moment they share.
However, they knew it too well. These happy moments would be short-lived, it would be almost impossible to garner the support of these men strolling in. The men, all dressed in dark brown cloaks seemed to shoot disapproving looks at them through the still air. It all happened within that particular night where their fate would be decided. Despair, dejection and disappointment.
“Er…hem” The man at the head of the table stood up gingerly and all eyes followed him. “Tonight, we gather here to decide on what’s best for them ... …”, he continues, but nothing shook them.
The headman came to a pause after his long introduction on the background. He stood up before the headman could continue. Astonished by his sudden reaction, the room silenced and everyone exchanged surprised looks. Murmurings spread across the room a moment later, with frequent scowls and disapproving looks shot towards him. “Hem.” The entire room turned towards him, listening to what he has to say. He gave the hall a swift scan and declared to the floor, “For her, I’ll leave. Please do not hurt her.” Even before some could digest the information, he turned towards the door and left.
The noblemen looked at each other. There was a dead silence in the dusty hall as curiosity hung in the air. Everyone seemed puzzled but no questions were raised. The traditional belief that inquisitiveness would lead to troubles stopped them from asking. The meeting soon ended as no other issues were raised and everyone dispersed. She could no longer withstand it. She sped out of the hall, weaving through the crowd, and out of the castle and into the woods. She wept hysterically.
It dawned bright and clear the next morning. The King and Queen were kept busy preparing for the grand marriage of her and Charles. The palace was lavishly decorated for the grand marriage between the two noble families. Bright versus dark. Happiness versus sadness. To her, the smiles on her parents face seemed like everlasting darkness.
The long awaited day for the parents arrived. At the prospect of a perfect son or daughter-in-law, the cheerful smiles complimented their gorgeous outfit. Their happy moments lasted till the trusty servant, Crispina, came to them with a worried look. “Your Majesty…Your Majesty…she’s missing! She’s missing!” Right before their eyes, a bare room was there. Neat and tidy.
The only thing that caught their eyes was a crown. A shiny crown that laid on the table. Beside it was a note, handwritten by her.
“I’ve left with him. I don’t deserve the crown. Put the past behind. It’s all a ploy. I’m sorry. The one whose no longer a princess.” Unable to accept losing the “perfect” daughter-in-law, the king sent troupes to search for her immediately. But it was no use. They had long left for a secret land where they no one knew…
It only left her parents all alone in sorrow, in guilty.
---THE END---
And you know what? She is gonna put this after the biblography "inspired by: Cheong Yi Lei" only... next time dun help her do flash...zuo le ye mei yong....
