Δ I literally stink --'
22 June 2011, 14:05
I was pretty happy today, going for lunch like this-> :D Then I had to was pass this kiosk selling can drinks. And they were clearing them, so they threw a few of the cans into this big blue container. And SPLASH! Yay, I walked through a fountain -.- I have no idea if its the water in the container or water from the canned drinks, but it totally got onto me, and the aunty didn't even bother apologising. Such a piss off sia. Totally ruined my day. And now, my right half stinks. (Luckily my left half is still dry and, erm, sweet smelling n_n **gratitude**) Urgh. I stink and I can't bathe cause I'm stuck in the office. My life,
sucks stinks.
Δ Universal Studios Singapore: Should I, or should I not?
17 June 2011, 22:25
THE ONLY PERSON I HAVE TO CONVINCE IS ACTUALLY MYSELF, NOT MY MUM. Damn. But its going to be a hundred bucks or two. My family isn't rich, at all. To me, this a really huge amount. But she travelled so far, shouldn't I bring her there? But I don't take the roller coaster, and that's kind of a waste of money for my ticket. And I can't possibly let her go alone with my other friends. Im so torn between the two choices. Go. Or not. The money, I really really can't convince myself to spend it. Can I just ask her if she wants to go? But I told her the tickets were kind of expensive already, and her response is that she didn't mind if we could go somewhere less expensive but still very fun. I can't decide. My brain keeps telling me to bring her elsewhere (I have a place in mind already), but really? Should I deprive her of the chance to visit USS? Or is it perfectly okay? I cant decide.
And I don't have a consultant. Because people either really love theme parks, don't think those few hundred bucks is a huge amount, have already made up their minds given such a situation or just plain un-contactable.
I post this up here because I hope one of those close friends who are going can read this post. I hope they understand the real reason behind why "I have to argue the pros and cons out with my mom". I hope they'd understand, one way or another. I mean, I have spoken with my mom, and her response is exactly as I have expected. As long as she can manage it and its pretty much reasonable, I know she'll scrimp and save and somehow get the money for me to go. But going to the immersion trip is already a bomb, I don't know how much it's going to affect her already. And now, another small bomb?
Δ Why you should bring your bag along for lunch?
14 June 2011, 15:24
Because, otherwise, you will meet your colleague on the way back to the office, on the day where your hands are full, holding a wallet and two bottles of ice lemon tea, and both your pockets are really puffy with a phone and camera on each side. Basically, you will meet your colleague when you look utterly retarded. -.-
Dang, no more ice lemon tea. And I'm saving the other bottle for tomorrow.. D:
Δ Chinese PT: which movie?!
09 June 2011, 23:18
So, I've to do a 看后感 for a chinese movie. Which should I do? Hmmm, ohkay, I'm going to use this as an excuse to watch some movies ^^ I've just finished watching 向左走,向右走, with english subtitles xD (But I didn't really read them, the audio was enough!)
So, yeah, the couples were super sweet. But I read the book this movie was adapted from (向左走,向右走 by 几米) and (obviously) knew the storyline already, so it wasn't much of a surprise. And being absolutely a failure at music or literature, it seemed boring when they read poems and played songs on the violin. Hello? The female lead was a translator (mainly for poetry, and they kept repeating this poem in the movie) and the male lead was a violinist (and kept playing all kinds of tunes I couldn't quite identify nor appreciate). Yeah. So it was super sweet and boring at the same time.
Erm, then there are 苏乞儿, 安娜与安娜, 不能说的秘密 and a lot more! Haha, I should go write a short reflection based on the movie before the **feel** goes away! Haha, I think I so retarded/high today. :D :D : D (Coupled with the fact that I've gotten twenty two words of love! (: )
Δ I think I really drive people nuts at times.
06 June 2011, 21:59
And drive myself nuts at the same time as well. Haha. Haha.
Δ If someone can just cook me Macaroni and Cheese, I'd feel so loved.

Δ WEP: Impression of 1st day at work!
01 June 2011, 22:35
Erm ohkay, it isn't totally cool or anything of that sort actually. So, I'm in the China department in the Chinatown branch. The only one being sent there... D: Yeah. Anyways, I did one job throughout the whole day, which is to help people fill up their arrival/departure cards. Thats basically it. Hope I would have something that actually requires some brain cells to work tomorrow! O:
Oh did I mention (no I didnt) that, the working hours are from 9am to 6pm, with the dress code as their company shirt and pants? That kind of... sucks. D: **Needs to pull through 1 month of that crap, gosh**
