CHEONGYILEI
Me, I don't eat (most of) my veggies. I enjoy air-conditioners on humid mornings, ice-creams on cold evenings and sleeping on rainy nights. I'm a dreamer and a kpop lover. I like dark red roses and bright yellow sunflowers, but I hate artificial flowers. I like travelling and daydreaming a lot better than annotating literature texts though I like libraries, bookstores and thick a4-sized notebooks. I think its fun to scribble stuff - words, quotes, pictures, symbols - in my notebooks. I have a tendency of writing notes on foolscap and losing them ): Oh, I think I want to dye my hair red when I grow up. And and and, I think its pretty fun writing this.

Swiss IAP, then before you know it school gets rolling, and you plan your time poorly so you submit your poorly done first assignment late and it's saturday today but your family wakes you up at 7.30 for breakfast then you know you'd have to start rushing to prepare for your poorly paid tuition assignments and then they start and by the time they end, it's probably 7.30pm in the evening, then sunday requires you to rush some homework, help out with a bit of housework and by the time you realise, the monday routine is back in your face.
There are times like this where I really hate the fact that I'm teaching. It takes up so much of my time and effort and the reimbursement is comparatively so little; even my other friends who teach probably earn more than I do because they teach higher levels. But I wonder if I really have a choice to drop these assignments because all that small money amounts to more than I can ever afford otherwise. If not for these little savings, where to get money for food? If not for them, where to get money for school and hostel? I know better than to stretch my hand for money.
It's entirely frustrating and draining but people don't even realise that. Then again, why would they even care; if it were me, I probably wouldn't, so just pardon my angst and my fatigue, and let me just wallow in meaningless self pity.
