Δ Expectations - again
27 October 2012, 23:28
It really is better not to take everything for granted, like just stop expecting. The more one expects, the more disappointed one becomes. So when you just convince yourself that people won't (ever) do things (especially things you really want them to do) for you, then you'd be more than super happy when they actually do it. Yeah. Guaranteed by personal experience so yeah. Trying to not expect anymore.
Meh this is weird here. Probably repost in my private blog tomorrow or something. Sighh.
Δ 耕耘
26 October 2012, 16:49
Δ Oh, December.
25 October 2012, 18:01
Can't wait for an escape from all of these frustrations and piles of drudge work. Sigh expecting too much again. Can't wait for the next board meeting or karaoke with Claudene and Koh Huey or FAM night or even class outing, at least I can just go and lame around with an excuse.
Δ InvestigateIT 2012
21 October 2012, 15:06
It was on friday and saturday. It is a training cum competition event. On the whole, it was really fun though it could be tiring at times. The first day was kinda messy but there weren't any major major problems. And the second day was really planned and organized from the adjustments made from before. (I'm super impressed ohkay.) Yeah, it's kind of different being there as a volunteer dude last year, and being more involved this year, especially when you know the people there. It was really fun uh. (You could just weird around in the air when all the participants are running around, trying to find brands chicken essence boxes with ice cream sticks. )
Yeah. It was fun.
Δ 我

当我不能拥有全部,我宁愿放弃可贵的所有。因为我也有颗想独占一切,自私的心。

Δ Dinner?
12 October 2012, 22:51
Haha I purposely didnt mention about not having taken dinner tonight, waiting to see who would actually ask. And a bit surprisingly, only my mum actually asked (and in fact fussed about my dinner). She just kept asking me if I wanted this or that for dinner, although I kept saying I would just grab some biscuits later. Haha in the end I conceded by opting for ramyeon. Hehe. The times were you feel loved by the naggy-ness.
Δ Phone
09 October 2012, 22:32
The only thing I want to do now is to dump my phone and live a phoneless life. Whats the point of having it anymore when the small stupid trace of things that make it so important are all being deleted? Im never going to have again the things ive lost. I will never get them back. Never.. Ever...
Δ Inspiration: this guy who asked me for help with English
07 October 2012, 11:58
This guy at the library who is in his mid twenties thirties, he deserves much more priority on any of the other things I want to blog about. He is learning English, and going to take o levels at the end of the year. And he is just doing all the past year papers, going through the passages, the questions and answers and even seeking help from random people. And if that's not enough, his English dictionary is the thick kind which has been used till less than half the cover is left, the binding almost invisible and all the pages are dog eared. In comparison to the other groups of sec four students studying around me, he might be starting so much later but the effort that he is putting in and his attitude towards it is so much better and more keen than us pampered kids who are always complaining without thought and hoping that we don't have to study. This guy, (Y), makes realize that I need to put in the effort to study now that I have the chance. (And to make use of those dictionaries that are in perfect condition and have been gathering dust in the cupboard)

Δ Philo scores & French Orals & Step Up Revolution
05 October 2012, 20:44
Philo scores were screwed up thanks to a single digit score for COI. I landed up in adequate, for the first time in my four years. So smart.
French oral was simply bad. (Not trying to be humble or anything but it was thoroughly screwed)
Then I went to watch Step Up Revolution, which was kinda cool. I really liked to watch the main actress dance. And the others too uh, but I found the plot a bit simple. Nonetheless, it was quite an okay movie.
And I just washed my hair. Ohkay never mind byebye.
And I think I misplaced them. Ugh. Whyyyyy.
Δ Love story
04 October 2012, 22:23
Robbs.
We don’t always do what’s right, what’s good. Not even for each other. But when it counts, down to the core of it, I believe we do exactly that. What’s right and good for each other. There’s no rule to that. It’s just love.

Hit my head against the wall ouchhhhh

If we could hug ourselves to sleep, haha, life would be better, no? Haha what a silly idea.
Δ Learning points from today
03 October 2012, 22:28
Today, I had a Chinese mock exam, but because it did not carry any weightage in the overall score, I didn't study for it. And well, I couldn't do a lot of questions and the essays were badly written.
Hence, point 1: hardworking always pays off, or well at least, it gives you a minimal sense that you've done your best.
Then there was this passage which was a letter written by a mother to her 25 year old son to appeal for him to leave the house because she simply found him over reliant. And I guess, some of my classmates and I could really identify with this passage, because our families are like that. We have grown so used to this that we don't even realize how ridiculous the whole thing is (my mum has been telling me off about that but I've never paid much attention to it) until we read the passage from an objective point of view.
Hence point 2: time to grow up and start being independent! Seriously!
There was this other passage about how sometimes happiness is not about gaining everything you wish you could own, but rather, giving up some of these desires so that you don't feel as if you are being mistreated, as in, as if your situation is worse than that of others. At first, i just thought it was really just what other people normally preached - being content. Then I realized it wasn't after talking to my friends. Being content is more of treasuring what you have now, but this is really just about giving up what you do not need, accepting the situation and living with it. On a more positive note, it is about knowing what you need and what you don't but on a more negative side of it, it is about giving up, like really, not caring about it at all. It sounds heartless but that's it.
Hence point 3: accepting and moving on, whether its being cold hearted or being contented or whatsoever.
So many things to learn from today.
Δ Les sentiments
01 October 2012, 20:50
Je me trouve trop agaçante.
