CHEONGYILEI
Me, I don't eat (most of) my veggies. I enjoy air-conditioners on humid mornings, ice-creams on cold evenings and sleeping on rainy nights. I'm a dreamer and a kpop lover. I like dark red roses and bright yellow sunflowers, but I hate artificial flowers. I like travelling and daydreaming a lot better than annotating literature texts though I like libraries, bookstores and thick a4-sized notebooks. I think its fun to scribble stuff - words, quotes, pictures, symbols - in my notebooks. I have a tendency of writing notes on foolscap and losing them ): Oh, I think I want to dye my hair red when I grow up. And and and, I think its pretty fun writing this.

Today's been a busy day with classes ending at 5, followed by french connection from 5-7, then dinner at the US Independence Day Celebration that the MIT kids on (summer programme?) LEAD programme organised, then french exco meeting from 9 till around 11. Then well, physics homework due tomorrow. On a side note, I did horribly for physics, failing by less than 40%, I think it set a record low.
US Independence day was disappointing cause it was 5 dollars worth of one and a half hours wait in the queue for a bbq potato, 3 chicken wings and 1 satay and half a cup of some fruit punch. And the bouncy castle was more like a ... bouncy corner. But well, kudos to them for the set up at the start. Looked really quite promising when I first walked down to join the (already daunting) queue with the fairy lights at the Jackie Chan pavilion and the banner they made hung beside it, coupled with some loud music.
Had fun in the afternoon during lunch though haha. I went down for lunch late because I was discussing some project after class with my friends and surprise surprise, canteen was flooded with people. Guess what, I met my room mate who equally refuses to queue or eat grass (salad). So we strolled to Brian's bakes. However, we're shocked by the rather exorbitant prices (cause the portions were really small) and proceeded on to Owl's cafe. We wanted to get some all day breakfast set but guess what all day breakfast is not served all day. So we moved on to Aria and had lunch hahahaha. I got a smoked salmon sandwich, slightly pricier for lunch but still acceptable I guess. :D not bad to have a room mate who does these impromptu things together with you hehe
Yupps tons of things to get done for french connection so I'm truly excited for the year. Not sure how long this excitement can last but I kind of see potential to do some wonderful stuff for now sooooo... *positivity*! (:
