CHEONGYILEI
Me, I don't eat (most of) my veggies. I enjoy air-conditioners on humid mornings, ice-creams on cold evenings and sleeping on rainy nights. I'm a dreamer and a kpop lover. I like dark red roses and bright yellow sunflowers, but I hate artificial flowers. I like travelling and daydreaming a lot better than annotating literature texts though I like libraries, bookstores and thick a4-sized notebooks. I think its fun to scribble stuff - words, quotes, pictures, symbols - in my notebooks. I have a tendency of writing notes on foolscap and losing them ): Oh, I think I want to dye my hair red when I grow up. And and and, I think its pretty fun writing this.
Merci 2016. Au même temps, j'attends une 2017 fantastique.

I sit in the campus centre, listening to people play the school piano as I type on and wait for 11am. AST pinup starts at 11. For a moment, I forgot that I was an architecture student. (actually no, not with the nagging fatigue) Sometimes I realise that I love architecture too dearly that I forget all the other amazing things in life that I love too. I like to write, to read, to learn new languages, look at art, listen to piano music (maybe, sometimes) and look at the world; and in some ways, these small things were all forgotten as the rush to meet deadlines and to churn out boards took over my daily routine. I don't mind putting all that stress on myself in fact I very much enjoy it, but perhaps I'm just writing this to remind myself that growing to be a great architect doesn't mean staying in studio all day. Experiencing the various colours of life might be as worthy as spending a day (or night) in studio, don't forget to just stop and observe the world around you, to appreciate human activity in all its current forms and to learn the beauty of it.
:) and to the guy playing the piano, you've got awesome piano skillz (ok maybe I just lousy la. ) gonna chill for a while more and crash senior's crits yoohoo all the pro people and boards.
