Wow, time really flies and it's been a full term at SUTD already. Today's math paper marks the end of the term and convocation this evening marks the start of another journey. It feels like so many things have flew by, I hardly had time to process and think twice about it. Yet, I somewhat enjoyed the difficult times, as if there were some sort of triumph over the obstacles, albeit them being really really small ones. Idk, it's kind of lame.
And anyway, back to the main point on my exams and smu. Yay, exams are over but I feel like I haven't done well enough for them? And I'm all ready for physics bootcamp sighpies. SMU convocation was actually cool, much better than the SUTD one frankly, it was like watching the star awards live. The background... The dancers... The whole performance was generally very very professional and the different performing arts group's interpretations of the theme was really special.
After that, I went on to hang out with my classmates Nicholas, Marvin, Jason, Jeremy and Rachel and one of the DDP guys, Yilong joined us (actually, it's because he had to bring us two noob girls to the place haha). And nope, I didn't drink. A for awesomeness. But I had a great time hanging out with them and talking about school life and related stuff.
So now I'm actually on the train back and I don't know if it's because of the time (brain activity increases at night apparently), the drinking mood with my friends or just because I'm retarded but I get nostalgic when it's drinks + nights. Maybe nostalgic isn't even the right word.
"He said one day you'll leave this world behind
So live a life you will remember
My father told me when I was just a child
These are the nights that never die
My father told me"
-The Nights, Avicii
Sometimes I wish I had a better command of English or paid more attention during descriptive essay writing classes in primary school - perhaps I would be able to express myself better then. All these things about life, the fleeting moments, the incessant buzzing, the silent rage, they are so complex that I cannot seem to write or talk about them. But books, poetry and literature seems to do that just fine. So yah,):
Lots of love,
