CHEONGYILEI
Me, I don't eat (most of) my veggies. I enjoy air-conditioners on humid mornings, ice-creams on cold evenings and sleeping on rainy nights. I'm a dreamer and a kpop lover. I like dark red roses and bright yellow sunflowers, but I hate artificial flowers. I like travelling and daydreaming a lot better than annotating literature texts though I like libraries, bookstores and thick a4-sized notebooks. I think its fun to scribble stuff - words, quotes, pictures, symbols - in my notebooks. I have a tendency of writing notes on foolscap and losing them ): Oh, I think I want to dye my hair red when I grow up. And and and, I think its pretty fun writing this.
Δ i killed a snail

To be exact, I stepped on a snail. It's probably dead...?
It's a little creepy actually, that you mindlessly stepped on something so cherished/precious and the only thing you hear is the iconic "crackk" sound and shit, it's too late.
In fact, I was having an internal fight over the title of this post, but the snail eventually won. It was such a small incident really, but it somehow felt like a big red warning sign. With architecture becoming an official (and inescapable) part of my life (thankfully so, I admit), I've been devoting so much energy into it that many other things seem to have been neglected. I lose temper over the smallest and the most insignificant of things. Perhaps it's a day to be celebrated, the pay cheque is after all a monthly thank you note for the hard work over the past month, but I receive the piece of paper with some guilt stirring somewhere deep inside. There has been good things at the company, but I've had far too much negativity. The snail, unfortunate as it may be, seems to be a crude reminder of my current state and how I've been treating the smaller things in the hustle and bustle of life.
... Sorry, snail. Sincerely, yilei.
